• $21.50- $24.00 (growing wage depending on work performance)

• Answer and manage phone calls professionally

• Create and manage invoices and work orders

• Taking payments and closing invoices

• Schedule jobs and coordinating with technicians and upholsterers

• Manage day to day shop workflow and assist with staff coordination

• Track inventory, create inventory lists, and maintain organization

• Order parts and products from suppliers

• Problem solve customer and operational issues as they arise

• Assist with general office and shop administrative tasks (update computers, phones, stay on top of subscriptions and programs)

 

Training & Learning Opportunities

 

• Learn about Lowrance graphs/electronics

• Understand basic procedures and timeframes for mechanic jobs and upholstery jobs

• How to make, create and install SeaDek flooring

 

Qualifications

 

• Valid drivers licence

• Strong multitasking and organizational skills

• Comfortable using computers, phones, and basic software

• Good communication and people management skills

• Ability to work independently and take initiative

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Interest in boats or the marine industry is a plus

• Ability to lift & carry 50+ lbs

• Able to be on their feet for hours a day

• marine experience - asset but not required

• Can back up a boat / trailer - asset but not required

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain inboard and outboard engines

• Service electrical, fuel, cooling, and steering systems

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues efficiently

• Install and repair marine equipment and accessories

• Follow safety standards and manufacturer specifications
